Liberty Bell Trail
The planned 25-mile Liberty Bell Trail is a pedestrian walking and biking trail which runs on the former Liberty Bell Trolley Line track bed from East Norriton to Quakertown Pennsylvania. The 1-1/2 trail miles in East Norriton Township is the second segment to be constructed. The design process included public presentation and comment, township review, trail design and construction documentation. Stormwater is recharged onsite using multiple BMP rain gardens and recharge trenches. As project landscape architect for Simone Collins Erik Karlsson lead the project team which included The Louis Berger Group as project engineers.
