Erik Karlsson, RLA has 30 years experience as a design professional and practices landscape architecture in the mid-Atlantic region. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in horticulture from the University of Delaware. Erik began professional practice with the pioneering Philadelphia firm of Andropogon Associates. Currently his firm, C. Erik Karlsson, RLA, consults for public and private clients. His work ranges from academic and corporate campuses to roof gardens, public parks, recreational trails and public gardens and arboreta. Erik is also an Adjunct Professor at Temple University in the Department of Landscape Architecture & Horticulture. He teaches design studios, landscape engineering, planting design and urban planning. He also serves on the Board of the Tredyffrin Township Foundation for Parks and Recreation.
